When Springsteen used to come back to Asbury Park they would just put the word “Homecoming” on the marquee and everyone knew it was time to rock out. Well, the Boss won’t be at the Kappa Sigma House on the Southwestern University campus this Saturday night, but your ass better be.

Seriously…Kappa Sig House, Southwestern University, Georgetown, TX, Saturday night, at whatever time the band feels like starting and lasting until whatever time the band feels like finishing.

That’s right, for those of you who don’t live under a rock, the Heads’ Ruta Maya Gig was a CD release party. It was certainly the largest crowd many of us had ever seen at Ruta Maya, and the band ripped through an amazing set leaving a trail of broken hearts in their wake.

Their album contains ten original songs that will kick your ass. So how do you get one? Well, for now they will available at all HKatH shows, and wouldn’t you know there’s one this Thursday night at Headhunters. Not surprisingly, the Heads have not slowed down since finishing there album and are already playing new originals, so be sure to check them out as they climb toward infamy (it means “more than famous”).

This Saturday’s show is a must-attend. The Heads have been writing and polishing new material and are ready to show off their frightening talent. Seriously, it might scare you. Ruta Maya is a fantastic venue and it’s ALL AGES (but they also serve beer to those of legal age). It’s important though that you get there early and establish some dancing space. Also, the Heads have handpicked the opening acts (info unavailable at this time) so you’ll definitely want to catch them.

In other news, the guys have completed the mixing stage of the LP. Next is mastering, printing, and distribution. Bated breath til then!

I once knew a girl whose last name was Moorehead, but that’s neither here nor there. But I’ll tell what is in fact here, there, and everywhere: more shows! Plus we’re still anticipating an LP from these guys. Anyway, here are the dates.
